By accessing or using FastGrad (fastgrad.app and fastgrad.org, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

FastGrad is a free educational tool that helps college and prospective college students estimate potential savings from graduating early and plan credit acceleration strategies. The Service includes a savings calculator, acceleration planning tool, and a curated toolkit of external educational resources.

3. Use of the Service

Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by students, parents, guardians, educators, and anyone interested in college cost planning. Users under 13 are not permitted to provide personal information through the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

• Misrepresent results generated by the Service as official financial or academic advice

4. No Professional Advice

The Service provides estimates and educational information only. FastGrad does not provide financial advice, academic counseling, or guaranteed outcomes. All savings estimates are based on the inputs you provide and general assumptions. Your actual savings will vary based on your specific institution’s policies, tuition changes, course availability, financial aid adjustments, and many other factors.

Always consult with your academic advisor, financial aid office, and registrar before making decisions about credit-by-examination, course loading, transfer credits, or any other academic strategy.

FastGrad is not responsible for decisions you make based on information provided by the Service.

5. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, FastGrad makes no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of:

• Savings estimates and calculations
• Information about third-party platforms, programs, or services listed in the Toolkit
• CLEP, DSST, or other examination program details
• University policies regarding credit transfer, course overloading, or graduation requirements
• Tuition rates, fees, or financial aid calculations

Information about third-party services may become outdated. Always verify directly with the relevant institution or platform.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service contains links to third-party websites and educational platforms, including but not limited to Modern States, College Board (CLEP), StraighterLine, Sophia Learning, Study.com, and Saylor Academy. These links are provided for your convenience and information.

FastGrad does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and conditions.

Some third-party links may contain affiliate tracking parameters. If you make a purchase through an affiliate link, FastGrad may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence which resources we recommend or how they are presented.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content, design, code, graphics, logos, and text created by FastGrad are the property of FastGrad and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Your Content

When you use the calculator or planning tools, your inputs and generated results are yours. You are free to share, screenshot, download, and distribute your personal results in any way you choose.

Share Cards

FastGrad generates shareable result cards based on your calculator inputs. You are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to share these cards on social media, messaging platforms, or any other medium for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Email Communications

If you provide your email address to FastGrad (for example, to receive your plan, send results to a parent, or subscribe to reminders), you consent to receiving emails from FastGrad related to the purpose for which you provided your email.

You may unsubscribe from any email communication at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in every email or by contacting us at support@fastgrad.org.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

FastGrad does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.
